Resort Reviews: Finding Sharks and Turtles at Lankayan Dive Resort
Jannik and his family from Denmark have return to Lankayan Island Dive Resort for a second time. They love the tranquillity of the resort and enjoy the pristine natural environment at this remote and unspoilt location.
Jannek seems keen to see some of the larger fish, sharks and turtles he saw on his previous trip to the island. This time around most of the larger fish are very close to shore just of the beach in front of the guest houses.
It's great for kids! If they don't splash about too much it's quite easy to sneak up on the turtles and small black tipped reef sharks feeding near the banks of seaweed about 20 meters off the sandy beaches.

Pier Dive at Lankayan Island Great spooky dive through the artificial reef structures near the jetty at Lankayan Island Dive Resort. The silty, sandy bottom stirs up a misty gloom. It’s a very eerie dive where you feel like your floating through deserted ghost town. There are so many structures it easy to get disorientated as you drift around checking out the many large and interesting fish.
